I’m back in the City after my bicycle trip to Big Sur. Thanks for following along, and sending me so many encouraging emails everyone! I’ve returned a new man, cleansed of the grit of city life, and rejuvenated in nature’s bath. It’s time to re-enter society with determination and vigor. First priority is finding an apartment in San Francisco, and then a job to pay for it.
I had almost forgotten how frustrating the housing search is here. But no matter how depressing it is to page through numerous ads for apartments that are too far from where I want to be, too small and dark for me to be happy, and yet still cost more than I can afford, I still feel like I can do this. The perfect apartment will present itself to me, and I to it. This is California, it will happen.
